What a bad week for the Derby trail. Lemme sum it up for you in case you haven't read anything about it.
1.) Uncle Mo got beat in a WEAK Wood Memorial. He got beat by the horse I bet to win. Only my horse run second. The horse that run first was the only stakes winner in the field besides Mo. I beat Uncle Mo and lost $20 dollar. Worst. Wood Memorial. Ever.
2.) Premier Pegasus is injured and off the Derby Trail. I love Premier Pegasus. Gorgeous FuPeg colt, home bred by his trainer with a great back story. Talking to Ernie made me look on the bright side, its a hairline fracture - he'll come back to racing hopefully.
3.) Jaycito is off the Derby trail.
4.) Long shots won both the Santa Anita Derby (Midnight Interlude) and the Illinois Derby (John Vann.)
